Are ambiguous and seemingly pointless questions actually ambiguous and |
|
pointless, or do we assume they are ambiguous and pointless?
Discuss.

1. I know, let's have a poll |
|
filled with choices that aren't really choices and pretend that we are free to pick between them.

6. If you have a question about |
|
what is an assumption on your part versus what is an assumption on my part, maybe we could resolve that question by better understanding the issue which is being discussed which is one that you may or may not comprehend the ramifications of.
For example, we could have a focus group to answer this question. If we had a focus group, would it be a problem if the men in the focus group didn't make as much money, hypothetically, as the women in the focus group? Would it make a difference if the focus group was located in a border town? What if the women earned more money, but instead of residing in a border town, they worked in a northeastern town whose primary industry was dog grooming? Should we have legislation to ensure that women who groom French poodles don't make more money than men make by cleaning fish?
If you have any concerns about this question, you may address them to me by replying to this post.
