My house guest is still here and things are working out very well. Very low impact on my life, even the dog is getting along with my cats.

There are a lot of good, honest people out there who have fallen through the cracks and need help. If you have room in your home and your life, it's very rewarding to lend someone a hand. (I'm even getting some yard work that I had been neglecting done.)
