So, I get my latest Southern Living magazine in the mail and there's

a recipe section titled, "Easy Meals With Pasta and Vegetables." The first recipe in the article also includes...BACON! :wtf: :grr: :rofl:

When I was down in Texas a couple of weeks ago I had to ask (twice!) in restaurants... "Please hold the bacon on my green salad." :D

4. I ordered a salad without the chicken breast because

"I don't eat meat," I tell the clerk.

She says, "It's white chicken breast, it isn't red meat."

I repeat, "No, I don't eat any meat. Chicken breast is meat."

I think she thought she must be looking at a ghost because how could anyone in Texas live without meat?

The heading didn't exactly say "meatless", did it? The way America is, if it doesn't specifically say meatless/vegetarian/vegan, it most likely isn't. (and sometimes even if it says it is it might not be):eyes:

I think you just misunderstood it to mean vegetarian meals.
