| PETA gets a much deserved second look |
|
I used to think PETA was way off base. After my youngest daughter Serena gave me the PETA 2000 concert DVD for Christmas, I have a new view of PETA. How could I have been so off base? Thank you Serena. We call her Beanie. She knew I was a Beatle fan and gave me the Paul McCartney DVD. http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemid=IMA000622&promotion=y

| 1. Here's the thing with PETA |

One has to remove oneself from the judgmental mindset before trying to decide on what side of the fence one is on with PETA. Forget PETA, but think about the message. What is PETA trying to convey, spread, teach...?
PETA can appear to be way off base in some circumstances, and even I don't agree with everything they do. However, I must say that I agree with the reasons WHY they do what they do, and probably with 99% of what PETA stands for.
No organization is ever going to agree with you 100% (unless it's your org).
So, you're not thinking of PETA as off-base, I don't think. You maybe just didn't see enough.
Regardless, glad the group got a second look from you. Funny how sometimes, it comes from the mouths of babes...
