I think he's mostly just got allergies. We had a real sudden change in the weather and that usually makes him snotty for a day or two.

The Bio-Allers stuff works well and it's homeopathic. I use the liquid form, but they also have it in tablets you just let dissolve in your mouth. It's worth looking into if he starts getting snotty frequently.
