| Ban the sales and distribution of foie gras in N.J. |
|
I received this e-mail from Stuart Chaifetz of www.ProtectNJAnimals.com. Please forward this message to your vegan and vegetarian family and friends in New Jersey. I would post this at the New Jersey state forum, but there are a lot of carnivores there and I don't want to be flamed. Message below:
Dear friends,
Assemblyman Mike Panter - who has always been a strong supporter of animal protection - is sponsoring a bill to ban the sale production and distribution in New Jersey. As it turns out, our state has one of the largest distributors in the county of Foie Gras, and they are fighting to keep this unimaginably cruel process alive and without interference.
The first step we must take in this battle is to show our strength and support by writing to Assemblyman Panter -- and we need to do it ASAP. Timing is critical as only an avalanche of letters from us will show this is an issue that matters.
Please - as soon as you finish reading this, email him at asmpanter@njleg.org
Thank you,
Stuart Chaifetz Director, Animal Protection PAC info@protectnjanimals.com www.ProtectNJAnimals.com
