1. The mods saw fit

to delete a subthread in which I was involved (to directly answer the question). I don't question their decision nor will I undermine it. It wasn't a big discussion at that point. To be honest, it's a low point for me, as I told a fellow DUer to "use the Ignore feature to go fuck" him/herself. Fairly juvenile of me, but, I get caught up. No excuse, just reality.

Some posters actually went on to brag about alerting on the subthread. It would seem that some folks, folks that are well-known in the rounds here about being vehemently anti animal welfare, were made uncomfortable. Points were made, and folks might have taken it personally.

Probably best to not revisit that situation. I can PM you if you really want more of a lowdown on it. Wouldn't be fair to expose it here, and it would also be a violation of the DU rules, and not something I want to drag my beloved Tofu Ghetto into.
