So far, after a week- excellent tomatoes, strawberries in crisper still fresh, bananas are fine.
So, no throwing out rotting produce after a few days.

I've heard they work just find as long as you keep the produce bone dry. Don't wash your produce right as you get it from the store, instead wash the parts you need right before you need to use it. If you see any moisture collecting in a bag, you may want to soak it up with a towel also.
