Illinois and Louisiana both have new anti puppy mill laws in place.

Bills S. 3424 and H.R. 5434 were just introduced in the Senate/House (the PUPS Bill, or Puppy Uniform Protection Statute) to crack down on puppy mills. Thank you Mr. Durbin and Mr. Vitter! BTW, if you have a few minutes, call your Senators and Reps and politely ask them to support the above bills, please.

And now finally, the Office of the Inspector General has released their report on the crap job we all know APHIS has been doing inspecting, documenting and punishing puppy mill operators.
