| We grew "Russian fingerling potatoes" and Rocdor yellow beans |
|
Microwaved them and tossed them in olive oil. Added a tiny amount of salt and pepper. Harvest time is heaven.

| 2. I love the creaminess of fingerling potatoes. |
|
They do so well on their own, but I also enjoy slightly mashing them (with a few other veggies) into a thick potage.

| 3. Last year, we grew "French fingerling" potatoes |
|
The seed potatoes are expensive and we have to buy them mail order. However, it is a hobby and we love it. We only got about 15 pounds this year. The heat was trouble.

|
http://ft2garden.powweb.com/sinfonian/?page_id=12I haven't grown potatoes for over 2 decades, so it'll be fun to get back into the habit. :)

| 6. I've always done a row, but this approach appeal to my Inner Geek. |

:D
Since I've started container gardening, I find myself drawn to interesting uses of limited space.
