A heads up re: the documentary "Earthlings" |
|
a friend recently posted on FB: "I started to watch a documentary online called "Earthlings". I got about ten minutes in, and stopped. This is the most upsetting thing I have ever seen, and I am ashamed that I cannot take it. Everyone should probably be forced to watch it. WARNING: THIS FILM IS UNSPEAKABLY HORRIFIC.If you cannot stomach animal cruelty, DO NOT WATCH THIS. There are things I wish I could take back having seen in this damn thing."
Note: my friend works as a top creature designer and in effects for the monster and horror film industry. He's immersed in blood and gore daily, so if he says it's horrific please believe him!

I missed some things because I couldn't see from crying so hard.
'nice' people buy the products of that every day, I know personally some 'nice' old folks who would never watch this because they do not care what happens in the factories. I've learned enough about humans from some of the good examples I know very well.
