What is your favorite breading? |
|
Mine is one we just made the other day. I took some lightly salted organic breadcrumbs from Edward & Sons, added some Adobo seasoning, 7-pepper blend and some nutritional yeast flakes. It was pretty darn good for coating tofu. Gave it a spicy bite to it.

You seem to be scarfing it down pretty well. :)

5. I'm loving gram/channa/chickpea flour these days. |
|
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gram_flourhttp://recipes.wikia.com/wiki/Chickpea_flourIt goes great with spicy food: http://www.recipes.keralaz.info/capsicum-recipes/Capsicum-Channa-Flour.shtmAnd it coats (pressed) tofu pretty well. I like to roll/toss tofu chunks in channa flour, then sprinkle on a masala spice mix, then fry fry fry away.
