This year, its Celebration Field Roast for us- recipe ideas?

just when I found that yummy cherry-onion recipe for Tofurkey, hubby wants the field roast this year.

I've never had it. Any suggestions on how to prepare it?

1. Retch. I thought it was awful. It reminded me of lunch meat sandwiches when I was a kid.

I don't like the tofurky loaf, either.

Would you consider a nice lentil loaf with whole ingredients instead? I'll dig out my fave recipe if you'd like. Serve it with mashed spuds, butternut squash, veggie gravy & wow! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Does anyone else do the cranberry, jalepeno & veggie cream cheese dip recipe? It's a fave at our house.

2. I love the Celebration Field Roast.

I cook it as is, or I baste in a nice apricot base with soy and a bit of garlic. Wrap in foil, maybe a bit of pineapple. Cook and enjoy.
