MP4, HTML-need help from the Mac experts |
|
I have videos on my sites, all of those I make are WMVs (whispering-I'm a Pc user) I've been considering branching out to convert the WMVs also to MP4s, MP4s seem to be the most efficient size-wise. I have a converter tool that seems to do a satisfactory job.
Next step I can't easily find out. If I put a link to the MP4 on the HRML page and someone clicks on it, the error is "Page not found". I don't want to embed the player on the page, for space reasons, but I am missing how to list the link so that it opens up in the viewer's quicktime player-is there some code I need to put around the link or perhaps in the <head> section of the page? Mime type instruction?
