has anyone returned an ipod (under warranty) for repair |
|
what exactly does it mean when apple states that you are required to show proof that you sent the ipod back properly/in proper shipping container (or apple and their 3rd parties cannot be held liable for any damage in transit)
they supplied the container so what constitutes "proof" that you used it im scratching my head on that bit of fine print

1. if apple shipped you the return box dont worry about it. |
|
ive sent 2, and others I work with have sent 3 or 4. the only problem was with one that was dropped and the dock connector cracked. apple said they wouldnt warranty it at first but then they did anyway.
i know firsthand that apple does not want to warranty anything with physical damage, but they are very good otherwise.

2. oh ok - it was just strange |

to get clear instructions from them on how to return the ipod to them then they insert this odd declaration that they will need proof
i had no idea what that meant so i just had the delivery person sign a little statement
they just emailed and said it was received so i guess no need to wonder thanks so much for the reply
