Costco has some good buys on iMac G5s. |
|
We were shopping there today and they have iMac G5s - the 20" with the built in iSight - for $1499, which includes the three year Apple Care. Not a bad deal unless you MUST have the new intel model.
I'd have bought one myself but my iMac G5 is only a year old and tho my wife is very understanding, that just seemed beyond even her quite tolerant understanding. Oh, well.

1. Well, i've got a 5-year old PowerBook G4 with two cracks in the case . . . |
|
two green lines running down the screen, a missing key from the keyboard, VERY finicky and noisy slot-loading DVD drive (the one people had problems with so Apple switched back to trays), and just the other day the paint or whatnot on the case started to chip off. But it still works! Though I'm not sure for how long . . . knock on wood.
Do they have deals on notebooks as well? :D

Something in the neighborhood of 10%, so prices are not going to vary much. It's not like Bose products, where the margins could be 60% for big volume dealers.
