Really dumb question--need a little help please with iphoto |

hi all, my iphoto library has 2000 pictures in it and i really need to back it up, what kind of cd's should i use? I have some regular cd-r but i'm wondering if those are only for audio or could i use those to back up the pics? Please and thank you.

Some subscribe to a web hosting site such as mac.com. Both of those options solve the multi disk option, which would also work - preferably DVDs as they hold more info than CDs.

You kinda have it backwards- you can use ANY CD for data (such as your pictures) it's generally only MUSIC that needs specifically-designated "music" CDs.
Go ahead and burn those pics to whatever CDs you have- they should be fine backups.
