Wow. Do I have a question for you guys. |

Ok, I work for a computer repair/service company. We don't generally do a lot with Mac (natch) but for whatever reason the Apple store in the mall has decided we do. They sent us a couple fairly simple hardware replacement calls, we did it, and now somehow we're like the "go to" company in town for Mac issues. Which kinda sucks, as we want to do a good job and we really have no one who is what I'd call proficient with Mac. But anyway...
I have a customer, his father is selling his business to him. I guess his dad has dealt strictly for the last...I dunno 10? 15? years with Claris Works. All of his data is stored in that format. The son, predictably, is a Mac user as well, and he needs the data converted into something he can use with his G4 iBook. Is this even possible? I've done a little poking around on the web but get lost pretty quickly. Anyone know if a) we can even do this and b) is there a converting tool available?
Any and all help/directions to forums/pointing and laughing at the futility of it all is appreciated. :hi:

If he has a copy of Appleworks in the Apps folder, then he's got a native translator.

they stopped making appleworks. I had to get it from an old computer when i got my new imac. It's by far the best program I have for simple image manipulation. I like GIMP, etc, but Appleworks is quick and easy
