Shift key problem on an iBook G4 |
|
I'm on my father's Mac and every time I use the shift key, the Safari screen rolls up to the top like a roll-up shade; only the scroll bar showing. Hitting it again restores the screen. Does anyone know why it's doing this and how it can be fixed? There's no telling what combination of keys my father might have hit by accident, if that's what caused it. I downloaded Firefox yesterday and it's certainly better than Safari but the shift key problem is still there.

1. Never seen such a thing! Could there be some 3rd party utility for windowshade? |
|
Back in Os9 days, a double click would do this, and in OsX there are a couple of utilities that do so. check out the system prefs pane for "windowblind" - that is the one I can remember - or other similar things. Maybe cruise the startup items, or ask him...;)
Shouldn't happen in stock OsX.
