Found out a little more about the new iphone |
|
Went to the Apple Store yesterday and talked to the manager. She has seen the new iphone. I asked what was the biggest difference from the existing iphone. She said the GPS. I said I had good luck with Google Maps on my iphone and what was different or better about the GPS on the new iphone. She said well you can follow the little car on screen, just like on a regular GPS.
Then she lowered her voice and said "You will be getting all the other upgrades in the next few weeks so your iphone will be just like the new one except for the GPS and the new phone is a little thinner."
Good news, eh? Maybe I don't have to buy a new iphone now. :)

I have considered not getting a new one myself.
The ONLY differences is the 3g which will give faster internet speeds on the cell network, and the GPS.

My #1 wish was for a 5mgp camra and its staying at 2. I don't need GPS - sure it would be nice but I use Maps rarely as it is now. On a good note the GEO tagging if images will work on the older phones too.
