Crosspost: MS/MAC crossover font issue!

Hi all.

Ok, I'm on a Macbook, running OSX. However, I am using Powerpoint for Mac. I am submitting a poster to the printer's for a conference, and apparently I need to also submit my fonts that are on the poster.

My question, I guess, is: are the fonts in user/library/fonts the same fonts that are used in Powerpoint for Mac? For example, is Times New Roman in that folder the same as the one that I'm using in PP?

This may be a really stupid question...My brain is fried.

Note: I just found the MS Office for Mac font folder. Should I copy those instead? Time is of the essence, so any quick help would be great.

but, if you still have applecare you can call them and ask and they will help you.

2. If you are using MS Office suite

or components of it, -- and that's what it sounds like -- then they all use the same font bank.

Just curious, why do they need font names? For the printer?
