best mouse for graphic design work? |
|
I currently have a Logitech G9 but there are no drivers provided by logitech so I can't make use of all the functions or precise DPI control. :(
Which mice, with an ergonomic bent to them, also provide high DPI *and* Mac drivers?

1. Trackballs might cut down on repetitive stress. Check out Kensington. |

2. Dude, Wacom Tablets ARE the only way to go doing Graphic Work ;=D |
|
It comes with a mouse, but I've never used mine. I have a bluetooth tablet I've been using since 06. Before that I used a smaller Wacom tablets. I was going to post a pic of mine, but alas mine is too old and the only ones I found are a lot newer and probably better.

3. The Microsoft Trackball Explorer, with a catch... |
|
It came out in 2001 and was discontinued less than two years later.
It goes on eBay for $200 dollars or more. I have two.
Yes, I use a Microsoft product with my Mac, you heard me correctly.
I have Microsoft Office too, but as an unwanted necessity only. It's the crappiest suite of software known to man.

5. MS hardware (mice, maybe keyboard) can be rather good... |
|
I too use Office for Mac. I do prefer it over iWork, even if Office crashes when doing simple tasks (e.g. setting up a simple organizational chart). Of course, I might force myself back to iWork if Microsoft can't be bothered to fix this, as even Office 2007 is more stable. Of course, with Microsoft it's "'good enough' is good enough." Quality is meaningless to them...
