to the AppleTV so I am forced to watch the movie on my macbook. What a PITA!!!
The movie is ready to be viewed on my computer but it isn't transferable to Apple TV. The unit is up to date.
How in the hell I'm supposed to know that I couldn't do this? All of my library is transferable, even the movies I purchased on iTunes move freely to my Apple TV.

Attach the Macbook to your TV. I attach my Mini to my TV to view movies on a big screen.
