My first bluetooth device, and I need to ask a question.

I bought the wireless keyboard for my Mini. It says to turn it off, but I'm not sure when it is off or on, there is no visible sign of its status.
How do I know when it is off? I hit the on off button when I stop using it. The led comes on for a couple seconds then goes out.

Does touching a key turn it back on? Does it automatically go to sleep? Overnight?

The only way I know is when I can't type, then it's off. It seems strange to me, but then if the light was on all the time you are using it I imagine it wouldn't be good for battery life.
