it is eight years old... quite a long service life... brought it to a funeral so hubby would have something to do in a nation of foreign language speakers... guess what has chosen a lousy time to have a cascade failure? You guessed it...
at least the Ipad is getting a work out!

we have checked prices for new machines. Will take it to the place that upgraded it, and have them check what components need replacing. If this is fatal, getting a macbook and upgrading the drive with the new drive, and the memory as well.
