I woke this morning with repeated demands to restart me Mac.
After 20 mi utes of trial and error, it became clear that the culprit was the last update of air display.
Lesson forthegood guys: DO NOT take every auto update for granted. Just say no.

First do a rebooot, while pressing four keys at the same time, (Pick any four. At some point, you will get them right. As a last resort try Command, Option P and R) Then delete the latest program or app that you had added to your machine. Usually, it was some enhanced Finder program whose update caused your Kernal to Panic.
Can't have a panic'd Kernal, now can we?
Now everything works just fine.
