1. On your rec I loaded it on my older iPad.
Seems a lot faster than Safari or Opera..

2. Loading your bookmarks is easy as cake.
export them from safari on your desktop
in iTunes, add them to your iPad's new browser. Quit all.
Quit the new browser on your iPad, restart, and then hit the book icon and they will appear.
