I love the General... and I LOVE Scallops. The Scallops are such an expensive treat that covering them up with such a yummy and highly seasoned sauce seems....wasteful. I think save the sauce for the weekly chicken and for me anyway savor those seafood yumsters as pure and bereft of gunk as possible.

The only way I'd do this one is with seafood past its prime but not yet spoiled.
Give me an exquisitely fresh scallop, it's just salt, pepper, and lemon juice, thanks.

I can just imagine how light and delicious it is. Scallops are not my favorite, tho.

That fish looked just like Scallops. Can't judge a book by it's cover that's for sure. I'd be more likely to try this with fish. :rofl:

The article talked about a restaurant doing it with fresh fish, and then the "cheat" they referred to later was scallops. ;)
