They do need something else, tho. Maybe a little more salt in the mix. But they are pretty dang good.

Do you bake with sea salt? I've had excellent results in the 18 hour bread department, but I'm a little afraid to cut it into pie crusts because distribution might be a problem. Any experience in that area?

I use it in everything I bake and cook with no problems at all. I would imagine if you use your food processor to make pie crusts distribution wouldn't be an issue. :D
You like peanut butter cookies? Got some in the oven now and a loaf of fresh wheat sandwich bread on it's second rise. :o

 I have no food processor. I had one briefly back in the '70s. It was a gift, a cheap one, but I had to use it. I had good knife skills back then and luckily, they are better today because that processor kept breaking down. I burned it out within a month. Between the lack of space in NY and my first negative experience, I've never replaced it.
I adore peanut butter cookies and they are Mr. Pup's absolute, all-time favorite! We will be right over to test the cookies and we're not leaving until we get a sammich outta that fresh bread! :9
Have a great week, sis!! :loveya:

You'll wonder how you ever lived and cooked without one. I promise! You, too, babe.
