Try cooking for a dozen on a 24' sailboat with nothin' but a butane burner and an ice chest! It can be done and you can get raves but it takes planning and an hour to bring enough water to a boil for that much shrimp, sausage, corn and 'taters.
It was a raft up with a half dozen boats tied together and the passengers/crew making a "movable feast" by sampling all the galley offerings--and lots of beer & rum!
Good times!

I have really gained a lot of expertise in provisioning and making/serving a variety of good foods on the boat. At first, I thought that entertaining would be out of the question, but have found that it can be done with style.
Thanks for sharing this.
