but I have to say again that it really is the greatest tool in my kitchen. It makes so many things easily possible that would otherwise be tons of work.

but I'll be grating half a pound of Jarlsberg tomorrow to put into a cheese sauce. I use the mandoline for smaller jobs because the cleanup is a snap. I'll use the Cuisinart to reduce the PIA factor on bigger jobs, like grating a whole head of cabbage, more than 2 potatoes, or a big block of cheese.
