Just thought I would get your attention this morning.
(It's one of my favorite C&B phrases.)

I see in your profile that you have "prairies" listed as a hobby. Do tell!

Ahh...prairies. I'm a prairie restoration volunteer at the local state park, and am getting an AAS in Natural Areas Management. So, this means if you have a prairie, savanna, or wetland, I could help you restore it. I'm a certified burn crew member also. I am considering going on to get a 4 year degree in Botany or Horticulture, but part of me thinks I'm too old for yet more school...don't have the patience. I have 2 years experience as a greenhouse assistant..doing everything from managing the systems in the houses, to planting up teeny little plants and seeds to grow on for sale at the school plant sale.
My front yard is all native plants, except for some German iris and a Tree Peony.
I like to cook, too. I cook a lot of stuff from the magazine "Cooking Light." And I really like "America's Test Kitchen" on PBS. If they cook Indian food(or Mexican, or whatever)...dang, it comes out excellent, and just like you'd get in a restaurant. Oddly enough, I don't like many of the shows on the Food Network...the ones during the day are fine, they show you how to cook stuff...but the ones at night are all about contests, and I don't really learn much from them.
