Besides indulging in cooking shows which is a vicarious source of pleasure, I am a little ashamed to admit that I really enjoy the way Jacques Pepin slurps while he talks and cooks. Julia used to do it too, though Jacques is the slurp master. Makes the vicarious food experience all the more seductive. :P
