| Trying to figure out a cookie recipe .. thinking aloud |
|
So I'm flat broke until next Tuesday and yes, I've got a sweet tooth.
I'm trying to figure out a "cookie" recipe and I have the following:
flour almond flour 10x powdered sugar cocoa vanilla, crystallized ginger and other spices.
No eggs, but I do have flaxseed meal.
I'm thinking something along the crescent line? What do you think?

You can make a nice fudgey fondant stuff out of buttermilk and cocoa and powdered sugar. And if you have milk you can fake it into buttermilk with a bit of vinegar or lemon.
Then you could roll this cocoa fudge in the almond meal and top with a dab of ginger.

I can use that. No flavor, but it amplifies others well.

You can mix the powdered sugar with water and make "frosting" and eat that straight. Possibly with the cocoa.
Or you can make hot chocolate from the cocoa, powdered sugar and water.

| 4. What you need is fat if you want something sweet with flour |
|
With fat, I'd go with a shortbread noisette or rolled cookie sweetened by rolling it in the confectioner's sugar.
