So, I'm on this revision to my diet. I eat 5 small meals a day instead of the usual 3 biggies. Always have, always will. I need to gain some weight though and saw a nutritionist for some pointers. We did a "24 hour recall" of my usual diet. Her bottom line, I eat really healthy but I don't eat enough protein or calories.
Have added this to my menu -
Crab cake - Shredded crab legs, whole egg, diced bell pepper, green onion, celery, paprika, black pepper, a dash or two of hot sauce and bread crumbs. Sauteed in olive oil.
Onion soup - Cocktail onions sauteed in butter with the juice, then 2-3 cups chicken broth, garlic, thyme. Topped with oyster crackers and shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
Side salad - Shredded cabbage, cucumber, red onion with peanut sauce.
