I'll be trying this sometime this week so I'll post a review but I wanted to share ![]() It's a big bowl of chocolate cookie dough dip and get this....It's gluten free, high in fiber, there is a fat free version and there is even a sugar free version :wow: http://www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com/2011/05/23/want-to-eat-an-entire-bowl-of-cookie-dough/

1. Chocolate chip hummus -- who knew?

So weird I'll probably have to try this. It could either be really good, or so nasty the chickens get to finish it.

All I had in the house was peanut butter - maybe it would be better with something more neutral like almond butter/paste.
Ummm, well, not impressed. Its edible, but not something I'd bother to make again. Its sitting in the fridge, mocking me now.
I think I'm going to take it out today and mess with it -- going to add some flour, an egg, maybe cream a little butter into it and see if I can bake it up into some kind of bar cookie that's edible.
Still have a feeling the end results will be making some chickens happy later today.
Oh well, to each his own.

4. All I can say is AMAZING

We made this last night. I used about 4 Tablespoons of brown sugar and a little over 4 heaping Tablespoons of Almond Butter. It was delicious.
Since I knew beans were a major component I was aware of their flavor in the background but if I did not know they were there I would never have a clue.
It did not hurt that the SO added about a half a bag of chocolate chips to the mix.
Next time I plan to increase the oatmeal a bit and add some cinnamon and maybe some chocolate covered raisins. I am also eager to try it with peanut butter as the almond butter is very mild.

8. That actually looks really good

Chickpeas have always had a nuttier flavor than other beans (to me, anyway), so they'd work really well in this one. For a sugar free one, I might even use kidney or aduki beans, they're both incredibly sweet although the color would be a little off and not fool anyone.
It looks like the Cuisinart is going to get a workout, and soon. This is just too good to pass up: protein, fiber, chocolate, and no guilt.

Or almond or cashew butter. You could also use sunflower seed butter. Yummy

I used Almond Butter and more chocolate chips than the recipe suggested. It was clearly beanie but I knew what was in it. It was very "rich" and a little went a long way. Try it.
