| Did anyone see Cardoz on Sarah Moulton Sat? |
|
I really want to his chicken pilaf, but I didn't catch the beginning. How much stock and coconut milk did he use? Thanks

I don't how I missed that! I put in his name as a search and got nothing but an episode listing. Can't wait to make this!

I searched for her name and his name (sara moulton cardoz) and easily found the recipe.
Hope it turns out great for you and that you totally LOVE it!

It just sounds heavenly...and I'm not crazy about traditional pilaf because of the nuts (pine nuts?).

| 5. I always scoffed at tradition and used almonds, pecans or walnuts |
|
in any recipe that called for pine nuts. It's not that pine nuts aren't buttery and delicious and I'm not allergic to them. It's the cost.
Every fall I get a few bags of almonds, pecans and walnuts and freeze them. That keeps me going all year. They're cheapest in the fall and I can usually find sales, at Costco if not anywhere else.
