Bake like a hippywife!

Please post here your marathon sessions, like our good ol' pal Hippywife used to do for our entertainment. I can't keep up with her, but I am doing the Christmas baking for the college sophomore, the other college student working at Macy's for the holidays, the mom who is on bed rest for the next three months and pregnant with twins, the family member wintering on a Maine island, my favorite boy who will be five tomorrow, and two elderly aunties.

Yow. Some of this has to be mailed. So it will be a busy weekend. Good thing there isn't a Ducks football game to eat my time.

1. This weekend I'm making chocolate gingerbread cookies,

macaroons, mint brownies and will try that butterscotch recipe since I'll have all the ingredients on hand. That should be a nice spread of different flavors. I can get two batches delivered to an auntie and an uncle if I get this done by Sunday night and avoid the post office completely. Not really a marathon and what I can do on this budget. But the new oven will be earning its keep all weekend. :toast:
