| Do you find any "climate education" in your children's textbooks or curriculum |

I am a climate/global warming activist. I am trying to survey to determine what level of education about the atmosphere or energy concepts are in the school curriculum (required curriculum or otherwise).
Would you parents do me a kindness and have a look for whether such material is presented in school? I am childless and pretty far from the experience of education. You could comment on any impression you have of the curriculum, for that matter (if you don't feel like plying through a syllabus).
Thank you

| 1. there seems to be a strong environmental component in my son's 5th grade |

science text. Lots of comments about renewable and non-renewable resources, talk about global warming and what causes it, and discussion about our interdependence with nature. They recycle, go on clean-up nature hikes, and he knows about corn-based fuels.
sorry, I didn't see this post until recently!
