Recommendations for baby fences?

It looks like my 7.something-month-old son is about to officially move into the wonderful world of crawling. (He manages to get around pretty well already with a modified crawl, but he's very close to getting the arm/leg coordination right.) So, the goodly wife and I are ready to invest in some of those baby fences for the stairs and whatnot. She's interested in the pressure-mounted kind, rather than the kind you have to actually attach to the wall. Anybody have any recommendations?

1. the pressure kind is good

as it leaves no holes in your wall to patch. I have never had one 'burst' if it is put up properly. An advantage is you can take it with you to a friends house with ease.

I use my gates for my pets now, as my kids are older, but there are many good brands out there.
