| Infant son suddenly stopped liking bathtime... |
|
...yet he still enjoys time in the pool.
A few weeks ago, our 8.5-month-old suddenly starting screaming and crying, and desperately trying to climb out of the tub every time we put him in for a bath. He doesn't even want to sit down in it. We've changed absolutely nothing about the bathtime ritual; same toys, same cleansing product, same water temperature.
What strikes us as odd is that he's taking "swim lessons" at the local YMCA, and has absolutely no problems with getting in the water and splashing around there like he used to do in the tub. My goodly wife has tried getting in the tub with him like she does at his swim lessons, but it has no effect.
I'm assuming it's just a phase, and he'll get over it. However, if anybody has any suggestions on how he can get over it QUICKER, my eardrums would greatly appreciate it.

| 2. Maybe he now likes the water warmer/cooler? |

My SD went through a phase (granted, she was almost 3 and could express it) when she wanted ice cold water.
Maybe he likes the pool temperature better?
