Please tell me about any experience concerning abuse by Child Protection in your state. You or anyone you have known.
Where children have been removed from the home, the facts revealed no impermissible abuse and/or neglect, the children should have been returned home, but instead, Child Protection recommended termination of parental rights and the children to be adopted.
I'd especially welcome any anecdotes concerning DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) in New Jersey.
Thank you in advance. You may help me preserve a family.

| 1. unfortunately for your purpose, all of my experience |

has been of the opposite.
CPS returning kids to "homes" they shouldn't have. Not removing kids they should. Placing them in foster homes that should have never been certified.
Though for the most part, my personal experience is they more often eventually "got it right" - removed kids from abusive environments, found good homes - temp or perm - for kids who birth parents didn't have a clue.
(full disclosure: former foster mom, and an adoptive mom...)

| 4. You were fortunate to have had a system that worked in your case. |

My situation is an agency gone rogue.
I'm glad for you.
