Camping Ideas w/a 3 year old

Hi! I'm taking my son camping next week and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for games, activities, things to do with a 3 year old. We'll be by the ocean, so we'll definitely be playing in the water lots; but I want to be prepared for things to do when my 3 year old gets bored lol... Any advice or suggestions would be most appreciated :)

1. As I recall (daughters 23 + 26 now), even for 3-year-olds,

simple does it best. Camping? 'Playing' w camping tools/kitchen stuffs; sorting and classsifying. Find ways for him to 'help' in your new daily chores. Always have a ball/balls around, of course. And a few books, favorites + new ones you and he will enjoy.
