| kids with chronic illness? |
|
anyone else dealing with this? my youngest has chron's disease, and my middle is bipolar. sometimes i feel like all i ever do is sit in doctor's offices, and count pills. i'm a lousy nurse. my health is kinda crappy, too. it is so hard to get all those pills in them. and the docs can sure make you feel like a worm, even when you know they are trying not to. and these days you have to worry so much about the safety of the drugs, etc. :grr: makes it all so much harder. like it ain't hard enough.

| 1. Been there, done that.. |

My oldest had 28 surgeries by the time he was 8 yrs old, and 4 more between 8 and 17... I have walked miles and miles of hospital hallways..
We were lucky though,..we had super insurance and all but 3 of his surgeries and treatments were at Mayo Clinic. That would NEVER happen these days (he just turned 31)...
I know how difficult it is for you

He's a successful, happy, and he and his wife have a great life. I wish he had been "dealt a better hand", but his life has turned out 110% better than we thought it would :).. Thanks for asking about him :)
