Anybody tried Ubuntu Studio?

Trying to set up a digital audio recording machine. I've used Audacity but not some of the other features in this distro.

1. I installed it -- will do some audio and TV viewing testing/recording later this week.

I also gave up my X-Fi sound card in favor of the onboard one (Asus P5Q Deluxe). I know what the X-Fi can do and there is a difference, but the quality from the P5Q integrated sound (Dolby 7.1 capable) isn't frivolous either...
