Be it Knoppix or Morphix, or anything else. Do you use a Live CD distro?
(It doesn't have to be your main OS, as long as you use it on a regular basis)

Normally I boot Xandros from HD.

It's got what you need. 50 Mbytes credit card CD. X Window System. SSH. What more do you need?
