2. It might be helpful to let everyone know, it wasn't easy, for me at least. |

I am a newbie at setting up linux. After booting from live cd, I installed to the harddrive. I then had to boot again to my win98 partition so I could download wifi-beta and wag. These can both be found by looking through the wiki forum at the puppy website. After rebooting to puppy, it was just a matter of finding the download files and clicking on them and they installed. Ran setup for wireless lan under setup icon, ran wag from there, ran wifi-beta also from there. I then had to hit the scan button a couple of times to have my wireless router detected. I have a dlink router and linksys wireless-b pcmcia card.
There is a little more involved if you have wep security set up on your wirelss network. I don't cause I live out in the boonies and I am not too worried about it.
Good luck to anyone else trying it. Puppy has been the easiest linux distro I have tried, it is my fourth or fifth.
