I've been to the Truman Library in Independence, and it's fascinating. It's given me the impetus to visit more - which libraries have people here visited and would recommend? I'd love to go to Hyde Park and go through the FDR Library, but does it have enough public exhibits to make the trip worthwhile, or is it mainly for scholars? I have the Clinton Library on my list, are there any others worth the time?

Can you imagine the Disney World, fantasy land this will be, and fudging figures is one thing, but how will "oil spoils" dress his legacy up?

I have been to several.
The FDR Library is extensive and will keep you busy for awhile. His gravesite is also there.
The LBJ Library also is very extensive with many exhibits and unlike other libraries, admission is free.
I have also been to the JFK Library at UMASS-Boston. I don't remember being overwhelmed by it. It was OK.
The Nixon Museum is in Yorba Linda, while the archives are at the Library of Congress. The Nixon Museum is almost comical in how it treats Watergate as just a series of innocent misunderstandings, with Nixon resigning for the good of the country. Okay.
I have not been to the Ford Library, but will go soon. The archives are in Ann Arbor, while the museum is in Grand Rapids.
