help an idiot..Antivir Solution...how do I remove it?Any help???

my son has it on his laptop-I can't get online and not sure what to do next...help!!!!

1. What are the symptoms ? Operating system? Did it knock out his ability to go online?

3. yes...unable to go online...and keeps popping up "unable to access"
only internet site you can access is THEIR site to buy program...
