Need help getting my system tray/notification area back to bottom of screen.

I don't know what I did or how I did it, but all the information usually at the bottom of my screen is now on the righthand side and I don't like it. Also, my Quick Start no longer shows up when I sign on to the laptop (Toshiba).I've followed all directions I can find referencing system tray/notification area/quick start and nothing works. Thanks for any help.

1. Click anywhere in the gray area and drag to the bottom.
